Seoul, Korea, December 30, 2025 —TGL Presented by SoFi Season 2, sponsored by global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook Tire), successfully kicked off with a spectacular opening match on Sunday, December 28 at 3PM ET (local time) at SoFi Center in Florida, USA.

As TGL's Founding Partner and first-ever Official Tire Partner, Hankook Tire showcased its global unified brand "Hankook" through on-site LED displays, television advertising, and live broadcast coverage during the opening match. Starting with Season 2, the company plans to deliver a distinctive brand experience that transcends the boundaries between mobility and sports over the next three years, using "technological innovation" as the shared core value connecting TGL and Hankook Tire.

"The launch of TGL Season 2 represents a significant milestone for both our partnership and the league," said Rob Williams, COO of Hankook Tire North America, adding, "Given that both brands are aligned in their pursuit of technological innovation, we plan to continue active engagement with global fans through differentiated content."

The opening match was staged as a Finals rematch from last season between defending champion Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club. New York Golf Club, who finished as runners-up after suffering two consecutive comeback defeats to Atlanta Drive GC in last season’s Finals, entered seeking redemption, drawing significant attention from fans in the U.S. and around the world.

Atlanta Drive GC fielded Billy Horschel, Corey Conners, and Chris Gotterup, while New York Golf Club was represented by Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young.

Following intense competition, Atlanta Drive GC defeated New York Golf Club with a combined score of 6-4, claiming the first victory of Season 2. After building a 3-1 lead in the Triples session, Atlanta Drive GC watched as New York Golf Club mounted a comeback to tie the match 4-4 in the Singles session. However, Billy Horschel delivered a dramatic finish by sinking a 37-foot eagle putt on the final 15th hole to secure the victory. This win extends Atlanta Drive GC's perfect 4-0 record against New York Golf Club while marking a strong start to their TGL Season 2 championship defense.

The next three matches of Season 2 include (all local days/times):
- Friday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. ET: Boston Common Golf vs. Los Angeles Golf Club
- Tuesday, Jan 6, at 5 p.m. ET: The Bay Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC
- Tuesday, Jan 13 at 7 p.m. ET: Jupiter Links Golf Club vs New York Golf Club

Meanwhile, Hankook Tire continues to lead global sports marketing through partnerships with TGL and prestigious soccer leagues and clubs. The company enhances brand recognition through partnerships with UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), German Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund, and Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad.
