Seoul, Korea, December 28, 2025 — TGL Presented by SoFi, a U.S.-based team golf league sponsored by global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook Tire), will kick off Season 2 with its opening match on Sunday, December 28 at 3pm ET (local time).

TGL is a golf league co-founded by TMRW Sports, backed by professional golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy and sports executive Mike McCarley. The league has gained global attention for its innovative format, which integrates advanced technology and entertainment elements. Beginning with Season 2, Hankook Tire will serve as TGL’s Founding Partner and first-ever Official Tire Partner.

TGL Season 2 will be held at SoFi Center, located on the campus of Palm Beach State College in Florida. The venue features a large-scale simulator measuring 19.5 meters wide and 14 meters high, consisting of a ScreenZone for tee shots and a GreenZone for approach shots and putting. The GreenZone is equipped with a turntable and more than 600 actuators, precisely adjusting terrain conditions for each hole to deliver a playing experience that faithfully replicates real golf course conditions in an indoor, arena environment.

The opening match has drawn attention as a rematch between the two teams that advanced to the Season 1 Finals. Atlanta Drive GC claimed the inaugural TGL championship last season after defeating New York Golf Club, and currently holds a perfect 3–0 head-to-head record, including their regular season matchup. All eyes will be on whether New York Golf Club can bounce back against Atlanta Drive GC in the Season 2 opener.

Each team consists of four PGA TOUR players for Season 2. Atlanta Drive GC will be represented by Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover, while New York Golf Club will be represented by Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young.

Each match features up to three players per team competing across 15 holes in two sessions: a Triples session (nine holes) and a Singles session (six holes). The team with the highest total score wins. TGL is distinguished by a range of innovative in-game elements, including “The Hammer,” which doubles the points for a hole, “Hot Mic,” allowing real-time sharing of on-course strategy discussions, and a Shot Clock to enhance the pace of play, delivering a dynamic and engaging viewing experience.

Hankook Tire plans to showcase its global unified brand, “Hankook,” across on-site LED displays, television advertising, and live broadcast coverage throughout the second season, reinforcing its premium brand positioning among fans in North America and around the world. In addition, by aligning with TGL around the shared core value of technological innovation, the company aims to deliver a unique brand experience that connects mobility and sports for golf enthusiasts worldwide.

TGL Season 2 will run through March, starting with the opening match and featuring a total of 15 Regular Season matches. The league will showcase six teams—Atlanta Drive GC, New York Golf Club, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club—with 24 active PGA TOUR golfers competing throughout the season in an intensive championship race.
